Why mechanical meter are generally cheaper than electrical meter?
In electrical meter, the signal is first converted into electrical signal and the signal will be sent to drive the stepper motor. Meanwhile for mechanical meter, it's directly driven by the signal, be it air pressure/temperature. However, the cost of electrical is higher and that is why mechanical meter will still have its market share.
